As the series draws to an end, Maya Jama and fellow hosts Peter Crouch and Alex Horne will be joined virtually by some well-known faces including comedian Mo Gilligan and pop artist Anne-Marie.
Does Maya Jama have any children?
Maya does not have any children; however, in the past ex-boyfriend, Stormzy has spoken of how he wanted to have children with the Save Our Summer presenter.
During a YouTube interview with Charlamagne tha God earlier this year Stormzy spoke of his love for Maya.
The grime artist said: “She’s a f***ing G, bro.
“I love her wholeheartedly. I’ve never loved anyone how I’ve loved her.”
Asked whether he and Maya could reconcile in the future, Stormzy said: “I would love for that to happen, but I don’t know…
“I would love to be the man who she needs, I would love to do all the things that make this work.
“I want to marry her, I want to have her children.”
“It feels like I’m finally getting recognition for my hard work.”
Later in the interview, Maya spoke of her role in presenting on the Save Our Summer series amid lockdown.
Maya said: “The BBC thought, ‘Why don’t we try and bring a bit of positivity to the nation and show the things that we’re missing out on during this time, like football and music performances?’
“So the aim of the show is to try and bring some happiness, despite all of the horrible things that are going on in the world.”
Maya presents alongside Peter Crouch and Alex Horne on Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer which airs tonight (Saturday, July 18) on BBC One at 9.15pm.
