Holly and Phil have been the faces of This Morning for many years, but the presenters are not on air today, July 13.
Friday was their last day as hosts of the breakfast show, which airs at 10am on weekdays.
The pair are taking a well-deserved break and they will not be back until September 2020.
Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond have been announced as their replacements, as well as Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.
Rochelle Humes will also be acting as a guest host on Fridays with Dermot and Alison.
Holly said an emotional farewell to her co-presenter last week and the official This Morning Twitter account shared a video of their best bits.
She said Phil had been “metaphorically holding her hand” as they continued to air the show amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The move comes amid a breakfast show shake-up which has seen Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid take a break from Good Morning Britain, and Lorraine Kelly return to her own studio.
Holly and Phil usually present from Mondays to Thursdays, with Ruth and Eamonn hosting on Fridays.
During the shake-up, Ruth and Eamonn will host from Monday to Thursday, with Dermot and Alison leading on Fridays.
Alison is already a popular face on This Morning, and she is known for providing plenty of laughs.
Holly and Phil have been holding the fort in the ITV studio since the coronavirus outbreak first started.
Phil said he hoped he would be able to give his friend and co-star Holly a hug when they return.
The pair had to abide by social distancing rules while in the studio, and they would sit two metres apart at all times.
This Morning’s official Twitter account announced the update on July 13.
Fans have wished the pair well as they take their summer break, with one fan saying on Twitter: “I say I’m handling lockdown well but here I am crying because Holly and Phil are going on summer break #ThisMorning.”
